Community advocacy and policy work involves mobilizing resources, influencing public policy, and empowering communities to create systemic changes that improve health outcomes.

Center for Health Equity Research’s (CHER) role

We believe in the power of advocacy and policy to drive meaningful health improvements. We work closely with community leaders and policymakers to address social determinants of health, striving to create equitable health systems that serve all populations. Our initiatives focus on building community capacity and fostering partnerships to advocate for policies that promote health equity.
