Equal Partners in Inclusive Community (EPIC)

The EPIC program welcomes all prospective and current College of Engineering, Informatics, and Applied Sciences (CEIAS) students as well as alumni to celebrate inclusion as one of our principal strengths, based on the understanding that mutual respect and inclusiveness help us build an intellectually vibrant community drawing on the broadest talent pool.

Mission

To strengthen community bonds between students and faculty in an inclusive and supportive community that enables us to share experiences while learning and drawing strength from one another.

Vision

For EPIC to be a central element of the student experience that enhances students’ academic, professional, and personal development and broadens participation from underrepresented students in engineering, informatics, and the applied sciences.

Diversity is not about how we differ. Diversity is about embracing one another’s uniqueness.
