Internships

Internship opportunities for students in the College of the Environment, Forestry, and Natural Sciences

Employers often look beyond academic credentials and seek candidates with workplace experience and success. Internships provide experience in a variety of settings and open doors to many career opportunities. Add an internship to your résumé and make yourself more marketable after graduation.

Public Lands Internship Program (PLIP)

The Public Lands Internship Program (PLIP) is a partnership between Northern Arizona University and various land management agencies, including the National Park Service. Student interns will have the opportunity to grow in environments that complement their educational goals and ultimately prepare them for careers in land management, natural resources, and sciences. For more information on the program and available internships, please contact PLIP@nau.edu.

Available university-wide internships and resources

Additional internship opportunities may be available at other locations on campus. Please consult NAU’s internship resources for more information.
