Whenever current students in the College of the Environment, Forestry, and Natural Sciences (CEFNS) need advice on course selection, enrollment, extracurriculars, and other academic concerns, our university advisors are here to help. The academic departments in CEFNS also have staff and faculty members available to help ensure you’re on the right track for degree completion. Whether you’re a new, transfer, online, or on-campus student, we’re here to help.

If you have been dropped from a course or are unable to enroll related to a financial issue or hold please email Student & Departmental Account Services.

Immediate Academic Assistance

If you have been dropped by error, enrolled by error, or have a pressing enrollment issue that will likely have a negative impact on your ability to matriculate on time if not resolved in 48 business hours, please complete the form below.

Advising resources

It’s best to consult your advisor and/or a faculty mentor each semester. There are also tons of self-directed tools available at NAU. Use some or all of these resources to take ownership of your education and prepare for advising appointments.

Progression plans

Degree progression plans provide a term-by-term outline of what courses you need to take each semester to reach graduation. These are your first stop to understanding the course of your degree and choosing classes each term.

Academic Advisement Report (AAR)

The AAR is a personalized degree-tracking tool that you can find in your LOUIE account. Learn how to use your Academic Advisement Report and consult it each semester to track your progress.

NAU Online and community campus students
