About CAL
Get to know CAL
From performances to philosophy, history to homonyms, the College of Arts and Letters is the home for humanities here at NAU. Learn a little bit about everything CAL has to offer.
Facilities
As the cultural hub of Flagstaff, we love showcasing top talent. Whether you’re on stage or in the audience, a student or someone from outside NAU, we have the places for moving performances.
Learn more about our venues by visiting our Auditoria site.

Study abroad opportunities
To understand the bonds of human connection, we encourage our students to explore as much of humanity as they can. We offer truly global experiences through our partnership with the Center for International Education (CIE). You can take part in these faculty-led programs both during the academic year and in the summer.
Community programs
We bring people together. It’s what we do. We want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy the rich cultural experience we offer. Many of the events sponsored by the college are open to the public and the NAU community alike. Find a program that excites you and participate.
