Certificate in Innovative Thinking and Problem Solving
This NAU certificate program will give students of all majors a competitive edge in the job market. Employers are looking for students who can think and act in creative, innovative ways, and through this program at Northern Arizona University, students will become leaders in teamwork and in crossing disciplinary boundaries to achieve real-world results. Students can complete the certificate by taking 15 units, and may take up to 21 units, if they wish.
FYS 121: Innovations and Design Thinking

ITG 490: Culminating experience in Innovation
ITG 408: Fieldwork and/or Internship
ITG 208: Experiential Education Experience

This NAU certificate program will prepare students to use multiple perspectives and resources to start a new venture, either apart from an existing entity, or within an existing organization. The program is designed to be flexible with multiple start dates throughout the year. This new and fully online program will launch in Fall 2018.
