Protection of Human Subjects is addressed by the Institutional Review Board policy of Northern Arizona University’s Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Studies.

InsuranceAccordion Closed

Students participating in a university-sponsored field trip do not have health or medical coverage through the State’s self-insurance program in the event of an accident. This also applies to students who are injured in the dorm, classroom or university-supported activity. Students should provide their own health and medical coverage, either through their parents’ insurance policy or by purchasing a student plan such as the one available through Campus Health Services.
