Congratulations Blue and Gold Graduates! Do you remember the outdoor stadium football games, snow sculptures, and of course, the beautiful scenery? The Blue & Gold Reunion is your opportunity to return and relive your college days. Socialize with your NAU classmates, celebrate Homecoming all over again, and share in all that is new at NAU. Mark your calendars for Northern Arizona University’s Class of 1977 Blue and Gold Reunion October 27-28, 2017.
This year’s homecoming theme is “Home is Where the Lumberjacks Are.” The reunion will officially begin Friday, October 27, 2017 with an NAU Recognition Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Saturday activities include the Café Au Louie Alumni Breakfast at the 1899 Bar & Grill, Homecoming parade on-campus, a NAU Bookstore visit, tailgate lunch at the Pavilion, NAU vs. Sacramento State football game with a half-time recognition.
This reunion is a great way to reminisce, reconnect with former classmates, and visit your alma mater.

NAU Recognition Luncheon
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
High Country Conference Center
Plan on joining fellow 1977 graduates and the 2017 Alumni Award Recipients at the NAU Recognition Luncheon and receive your reunion packet with the schedule of events for the weekend. This is an invitation only event.
2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Drury Inn & Suites
Meet the bus in front of Drury for a guided tour of campus and see how NAU has changed in the last 40 years. The bus will return you to the Drury following the bus tour.
Drury Inn & Suites
Check in and relax until the Homecoming festivities commence for the evening. Gather in the Drury lobby (time to be determined) to pick-up the shuttle to City Hall for the start of the Pep Rally.
Downtown Heritage Square
March with NAU students, faculty, staff, and community members from City Hall to the Downtown Heritage Square. Enjoy music by the NAU’s marching band and guest speakers, plus a special reunion message to all Blue and Gold attendees.
Wrap up a busy day with a relaxing dinner alongside classmates and Alumni Association Award Winners. Details forthcoming.

Cafe au Louie & NAU Homecoming Parade
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
1899 Bar & Grill
Walk across the street from the Drury to the 1899 Bar & Grill for the Cafe Au Louie casual family breakfast and watch the Homecoming parade from designated seating at 11:00 a.m.
NAU Bookstore & Tailgate
Following the parade
The bus will take you to the NAU Bookstore for a 30 minute stop to use your 20 percent off Bookstore coupon. After the Bookstore, the bus will take you to the NAU Skydome where you will enjoy lunch at the Lumberjack Athletic Association Skydome Pavilion. Visit the new Ponderosa (FanFest) tailgate and other areas of your choice before the football game begins.
Homecoming Football Game vs. Sacramento State
4 p.m. Kick-off
Alumni Award recipients and the Class of 1977 will meet five minutes before the end of the first half. Join Beth Martin and alumni staff on the south end of the field to be recognized before the half-time show beings. Following the game, the bus will return you to Drury.

The NAU Office of Alumni Engagement has a block of rooms reserved at the Drury Inn & Suites Flagstaff for the nights of October 26, 27 & 28. Please note that rooms will be available on a first come, first served basis until Tuesday, September 26, 2017. If you make other lodging arrangements, please plan on meeting at the Drury for bus pickup.
This itinerary is subject to small changes. The bus will be the transportation to and from the reunion activities. You can safely leave your belongings on the locked bus during the events. Remember to dress for Flagstaff’s unpredictable weather.
