returned to Tucson, AZ after graduation and joined a local civil consulting firm. Over the years, Bill has worked for several privately and publicly (Greiner/URS and Stantec) owned companies. Bill joined Engineering & Environmental Consultants in 2004 and took over as President /CEO in 2016. Bill was a recipient of the NAU Centennial Alumni Award (Distinguished Alumni Award) in 1997 and provides training to emerging engineering professionals through the ACEC LEAP program.
passed away on June 15, 2019. He was born in Kentucky, but moved to the White Mountains of Arizona at age 9. He grew up here, worked his way through college and on June 4, 1988, Scott married Monica. Together they raised 3 girls.After graduating from NAU, Scott started up his own small residential and commercial construction business known as Scott Baker Designs & Building. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, fishing and running. Scott was a 25 year member of the Coconino County Sheriff's Search and Rescue and served a couple of those years as its captain.
