Rebecca Seeger is a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force. After a 30-year career, she retired to Flagstaff Arizona and used the G.I. Bill to pursue a degree in digital photography from Northern Arizona University, graduating in May 2013. Col Seeger served in the U.S. Air Force as an Electrical Engineer, Program Manager, and Contracting Group Commander. She retired on March 31, 2011 as the Commander, Defense Contract Management Agency Twin Cities, Bloomington MN. Her assignments included Chief of the High Power Microwave Division, Air Force Research Laboratory, at Kirtland AFB NM, Chief of Special Technical Operations at U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt AFB NE, and in various leadership positions at Titan Launch Operations at Vandenberg AFB CA. She attended Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College and Air War College. She received a BS (Mathematics) from Northern Arizona University in 1980, a BS (Electrical Engineering) from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1983, an MS (Electrical Engineering) from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1990 and an MA (Strategic Studies) from Air War College in 2001. She was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal, two Defense Meritorious Service Medals, five Meritorious Service Medals and the Air Force Commendation Medal. In retirement, Col Seeger volunteers with various veteran events through the Grand Canyon Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America and with NAU Athletics.
