Whether you’re looking to advance your existing expertise or learn something new, NAU provides non-degree seeking programs for both undergraduate and graduate levels, allowing you to take courses without the structure of pursuing a degree in an area that ignites your passion.

How to apply

Apply as a non-degree-seeking student—as an undergraduate or a graduate—if you are not ready to apply to a degree program or you want to take classes for personal enrichment.

The application process for non-degree-seeking students is streamlined and does not require a submission of transcripts or test scores.

Apply to enroll in undergraduate-level courses

Whether you plan to take courses at our Flagstaff campus, one of our other statewide locations, or online, this application is for students who wish to take undergraduate level (100–400 level) courses that are not part of a degree plan.
