Student Orientation for Veterans and Active Duty
Attending new student Veteran and Active-Duty Orientation is a crucial step in transitioning to Northern Arizona University. The Online Orientation will provide you with tools for success to use during your academic career.
Start your online orientation experience here. But first, please read on for further instructions.

The online portion of the orientation experience should take approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Please complete this BEFORE August 20, 2021. We have added important information specifically for military connected students. Completing this online orientation will also provide you immediate access to the PRIORITY ENROLLMENT form.
*Priority Enrollment is the quickest way to get an academic advising appointment and to get your course schedule.
For students attending the Flagstaff Campus: Register for your Veteran Breakfast and In-Person Orientation Session.
This is an important opportunity to:
- Get targeted NAU resources for your academic and professional goals
- Meet staff and fellow military connected peers over breakfast
- Complete your In-State tuition rate documentation and VA/GI Bill benefit processing verification
- Get oriented to the NAU campus
- Learn Local VA and CBOC Resources
- Tie up loose ends before classes begin on the following Monday!
When: Friday August 20th from 8:30 to 11:30 with an optional one hour BBLearn/Advisement Report tutorial in the afternoon.
