Parent and family Orientation

Orientation for family members and guests

Parents, family members, and guests of incoming freshman students who will be attending NAU on the Flagstaff campus are invited to Orientation! We offer special parent and family sessions with community building, tips, and resources for how you can best support your student in their transition to college.

At parent and family Orientation, you will:

  • learn about financing your student’s education and have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a financial aid staff representative
  • attend presentations to learn all about life as a Lumberjack
  • participate in activities and workshops focusing on coaching your college student
  • hear tips and tricks from other NAU parents and family members and get all your questions answered

How to register

To sign up for parent and family Orientation, please register as a guest when your student signs up for their Orientation session, or call 928-523-0632. Parent and family Orientation sessions are only available as part of in-person Orientations in Flagstaff for freshman students and their families.
