Founded in 1899, Northern Arizona University is a coeducational state public university with an enrollment of 28,718 students. The university is located on 738 acres (3 square kilometers) in Flagstaff, Arizona, which has been named both the best city to visit and the best city to live in by the world-renowned magazines National Geographic Adventure and National Geographic Traveler. Flagstaff is located in the southwestern part of the United States, at an altitude of 2,200 meters, with a population of about 60,000, close to the world-famous Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.

With 93 undergraduate degrees, Northern Arizona University provides students with a solid foundation for their future careers. One of the University’s greatest teaching features is its small class sizes, with an average class size of no more than 30 students. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 1:16, communication between students and professors is more direct and intense, resulting in more attention to each student’s academic progress and personal development. In addition to attending classes, students will have many opportunities to participate in enrichment activities organized by student clubs and societies.
