2016 Arizona Legislative Internship
The Arizona Legislative Internship Program and Arizona Capitol Television Office invite undergraduate and graduate students from NAU, ASU, U of A, and GCU to apply every fall for spring semester State Legislative Internships working with the Arizona State Senate, the Arizona State House of Representatives, the Arizona State Governor's Office, and the Arizona State Supreme Court and Legislative Broadcast Internships working to produce video coverage of the legislative session.
As an intern in either the Legislative or Broadcast programs, you will work at the capitol full-time for the entire spring semester. You will earn invaluable experience, 12 upper division or 9 graduate credits in your field of study, a stipend or paycheck, and a tuition waiver for the semester.
Qualified students from all majors are invited to apply for either internship, although some broadcasting experience is preferred for the broadcast internship. This is a competitive program. Each year approximately 200 students apply statewide, and about 50 of these are selected to participate in the work of the legislature.
Applications for the spring 2016 session are available now.
