The 'ASNAU 23 Fee' is a fee that every student at NAU pays each semester, it fee brings the students a variety of services and programs.

    Services

    Funding for clubs and organizations

    • Additional funding for clubs and organizations on campus. Get more information at the ASNAU front desk in the University Union, contact your senator or download and fill out a funding packet to turn in to the office. 

    Advertising
    • Fill out a PR request form and bring it into the office or fill out one of our online forms and our public relations team will whip up an advertisement for you.

    Free Student Legal Counsel
    • A part-time attorney will be located in the ASNAU office to serve you—by appointment only—regarding your legal questions and problems.

    Extended Cline Library Hours
    • To support your studying, the Cline Library will be open for 24 hours during Reading Week and Finals Week.

    Club Headquarters
    • A headquarters has been set up behind Star Ginger, in the union, to provide printing, faxing, and other services to student clubs and organizations.

      The area is equipped with:

      • a helium tank and balloons
      • a die-cut
      • multiple colors of butcher paper
      • markers
      • paper

      Sign your organization in at the front desk and make use of this great resource.

    The '23 Fee' Spring Concert

    • The '23 Fee' spring concert is a concert that is voted on by the students. There is no charge to go, and tickets are available until they run out. Past concerts have been, Mackelmore, All American Rejects, Ellie Goulding, Wiz Khalifa, Ke$ha, The Band Perry, Ludacris and Blink 182.

    Carnival
    • Every October ASNAU presents a free of charge carnival for NAU students and faculty. The carnival is host to numerous rides, attractions, and food vendors.

    Diversity Week
    • Diversity Week is an event featuring various speakers, performances, and information sessions aimed to focus on the experiences of marginalized peoples and identities in our society. The purpose of this week is to increase awareness for those who do not always have a platform or voice on campus. This event is also for the promotion of learning and acceptance from within the campus community. Diversity Week covers topics such as: body positivity, LGBTQIAP + identities, students or people with disabilities, racial and ethnic diversity, women's rights, intersectionality, and much more.

    It's On Us
    • It's on Us week brings educational awareness to the epidemic of sexual assault on college campuses and nation wide. We create a safe environment for students to ask questions and receive information about resources NAU provides on campus or in the Flagstaff community.

    Undie Run
    • The “Undie Run” is a philanthropic and exciting event that ASNAU puts on for the student body. Students are able to come, donate their clothes, and then let loose as they run through campus wearing only undergarments.

    Kiss My Axe T-Shirt
    • Every year students are given the opportunity to vote on the Kiss My Axe shirt, the shirt is free to all students, and gives students a way to show their spirit all year long.
