Terms and Agreements

By enrolling in NAU's tuition payment plan, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • You agree to pay your payment plan by the due date.
  • You are responsible to pay tuition in full even if you do not attend classes. You must officially withdraw to obtain any available refund/reduction of balance.
  • You agree to pay ALL tuition/fees on the plan. If you add or drop classes, you must check your account or contact our office to determine the effect on the monthly payments.
  • Financial aid is handled separately from the plan. Monthly payments are still due even if financial aid is still pending. If you have financial aid, it could pay the tuition due if we have not yet completed your enrollment in the payment plan. Refund of your financial aid does not automatically mean your payment plan has been paid in full. You must check on your account status after any refunds.
  • You are responsible for paying your bill on time even if you do not receive a reminder notice or billing statement.
  • Past due amounts will be subject to holds on the student account
  • Late payments will incur late fees according to the following schedule:

  • The service fee and any late fees are not refundable.
  • Checks returned for non-payment will result in a $30 processing fee. Two Non-Sufficient Funds checks will result in future ineligibility for the plan.
  • Should it become necessary for NAU to retain an attorney or collection agency to secure payment of any amount due, you must pay all collection costs.
  • The court venue for any litigation arising from this agreement is Coconino County, Arizona.
