Undergraduate program assessment
Program assessment in recent years has included efforts to evaluate knowledge of psychology, written communication and critical thinking as well as subjective measures obtained through use of our Senior Exit Survey. We have also done curriculum mapping to see connections between courses and learning goals in the areas of globalization, diversity, and environmental sustainability. These assessments help us understand and increase the effectiveness of our curriculum and improve our efforts to meet departmental learning goals. We are also interested in learning from our undergraduates about their experiences here so that we might improve program quality.
