Vision

The NAU Research Division has as its primary mission to support and increase the scope and impact of research and scholarship conducted at NAU. The Office of the Vice President for Research and its reporting units have overall responsibility for the University’s research enterprise. It seeks to create a culture and stimulate an environment that fosters and rewards innovation, creativity, collaboration and community. It provides leadership and support for campus-wide research efforts, advocates on behalf of research needs and resources, and maximizes the benefits of NAU’s research to the scholarly community, and to the quality of life in Northern Arizona, the state, and the nation.
