Findings, interpretations, and implications

The summary of findings, interpretations, and implications should:

  • clearly describe and evaluate all findings with respect to the original assessment question
  • Include any additional findings that were not necessarily the target of the assessment effort
  • use tables and figures strategically to demonstrate findings
  • indicate that findings have been interpreted and that faculty have discussed them
  • describe how faculty have discussed the findings with respect to such things as:
  • curriculum map
  • program review or accreditation reports
  • previous assessment reports and UAC feedback, faculty experiences in the classroom, alumni /employer feedback, etc
