University payroll for temporary employees
Temporary employees can be placed on the university payroll
without going through a competitive process. If a department wants to go
through a competitive process, a requisition form and job description needs to
be submitted to Human Resources with the appropriate signatures.
For any temporary hire, other than through a temporary
employment agency, an ePAR must be submitted with the appropriate
signature approval prior to the first day of employment to ensure appropriate
classification and pay rate. Additionally, online time must be processed by the
department on a biweekly basis.
