New Employee Welcome

New employee orientation is required of all new, benefit-eligible employees and must be completed within 30 days of your start date. Effective Summer 2018, the classroom orientation session for new employees is expanding to a full day and will include our prior New Employee Orientation and Benefits Orientation classes.

Content will cover NAU history, mission, vision, values, benefits and retirement, payroll, and information from a variety of other departments regarding employee assistance, safety, parking, information technology and security, Campus Recreation, Campus Health and more.

This expanded classroom orientation session will take place every payday Friday, June 8 - August 17, 2018, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Those who can't attend the full-day New Employee Welcome may still complete the shorter online version for non-benefit eligible employees (see next paragraph).
