NAU incorporated all of my interests into one education, Flagstaff had the perfect small-town atmosphere, and the school itself felt like an out-of-state experience with an in-state price tag. I couldn’t be happier with my decision; NAU has been nothing but good to me.
    Why I joined Honors:
In all honesty, I would encourage every single one of you to apply to NAU’s Honors College. I joined because I genuinely love to learn, and I was excited to be in a place of like-minded people. Little did I know, it was the best decision I have ever made. Honors has given me a second family, helped me grow as a student and a human being, and made my future corporate ambitions actually seem attainable. Caring faculty, engaging coursework, unique connections, and fun events have defined my experience so far, and I know that the same will be true for you.

Why I decided to attend NAU:
I decided to come to NAU because of the smaller campus, the Honors College, and of course, the weather! I liked the fact that the classes were much smaller than other in-state schools, and I felt that I could get to know my professors and classmates better. I was also very impressed by the Honors College, with their even smaller classes and other great benefits. The event that made up my mind to come to NAU was Honors Day. Lastly, the weather here is beautiful. Of course, the winters are cold, but to me, that is worth not having to walk to class in 110 degrees.
