Financial Aid for approved Certificate Programs

Financial aid eligibility is contingent on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.  

Annual loan amounts while enrolled solely in a certificate program are

  • Dependent undergraduate: $5,500/academic year
  • Independent undergraduate: $9,500/academic year

(These amounts are different than those for degree-seeking undergraduates.)

  • Graduate student: $20,500/academic year

This is a current list of all eligible programs. Receiving federal government approval for certificate program financial aid eligibility is an extensive and timely process. Contact your department chair or academic advisor if your certificate program is not listed and you believe it qualifies.
