FEWSION Project

We are pleased to announce an ambitious new NSF-INFEWS funded initiative, "FEWSION" (ACI-1639529), which will produce a complete public dataset mapping, and new science explaining, the evolution of the U.S. Food, Energy, and Water system in response to shocks and stresses. Partners include NAU, Illinois, Penn State, Utah State, Arizona State, The Nature Conservancy, DRI, LeHigh, Columbia, UTEP, and the DOE Oak Ridge, Argonne, and Sandia National Laboratories, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, among others. Collaboration has included cities such as Flagstaff and Chandler, Arizona, USA, the Great Lakes Commission and Great Lakes Council of Industries, and Michigan Tech. Applications are solicited for multiple positions at the Ph.D. and Postdoctoral level for 2017.
