Pianist, William Lipke, maintains an active schedule as a performer, teacher, and clinician. He has performed with musicians of international stature such as the Ying Quartet (four different seasons) and international opera baritone, Hakan Hagegard. He has performed numerous solo recitals in the United States and in Europe, including recent recitals in Serbia and Russia. His appearances have been broadcast on public radio. He has given numerous presentations and performances at state, national, and international conventions.

Lipke holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He began piano study at the age of six and first appeared as a concerto soloist with a youth orchestra at the age of twelve. He has studied piano privately or in master classes with pedagogues including Walter Hautzig, Menahem Pressler, and chamber music with the LaSalle Quartet and Dorothy Delay. One of his students performed as a soloist with the Honolulu Symphony. He is currently Professor of Music at Adams State College in Colorado.
