Kaitlin Simonson graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.M. in Choral Music Education. During her time at NAU, she sang with the Shrine of the Ages Choir, Chamber Singers, and High Altitude under the direction of Dr. Edith Copley and Dr. Ryan Holder. She also earned the Gold Axe Award for Outstanding Seniors, the Andrea Josephs Endowed Scholarship for Performing Arts, and the Eldon A. & Roger W. Ardrey Memorial Music Scholarship. Kaitlin is currently pursuing a master's degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she studies under Dr. Linda Lister. As a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, she is the proud teacher of over 250 choir students at Canarelli Middle School in the Clark County School District. Kaitlin is a member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) as well as the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME). She enjoys serving in her current capacity as the chairperson for the Nevada Music Educators Association Middle School All-State Choir. Kaitlin is thrilled to be back in Flagstaff for the Curry Summer Music Camp this summer!
