Gordon Williford

Gordon Williford is a native Arizonan, spending most of his life in the west valley. Mr. Williford worked for Grand Canyon University as its Director of Security before being hired by the Peoria Unified School District. After only three years in the district, he received the "Pride of Peoria" award given to the district's top employees. In 2004, Mr. Williford joined the team at Quantum Leap productions. Originally hired as the company's bassist for custom corporate musicals and team builders, he quickly worked his way to music director and eventually producer for the organization. After traveling the country for several years, he left Quantum Leap to spend more time at home with his family.

Following his time on the road, Mr. Williford spent six years as the marching band director for Deer Valley High School. He is currently the director of instrumental music at Moon Valley High School where he teaches band, orchestra, marching band, jazz band, and guitar.

Mr. Williford spent his first summer at NAU music camp in 1982, later becoming a Senior Award Winner and then counselor. He has served as the Dean of Men since 2009.
