International students need to choose the 1-hour weekly sessions while domestic students choose the 30-minute weekly session. Please read the notes at the bottom for ENG 100 to make sure that you sign up for the correct section.

Each English 100 student is paired with a dedicated Writing Assistant at the University Writing Commons (UWC) to improve and to refresh their writing skills throughout the term. Students are expected to bring writing prompts, drafts, and ideas for constructive feedback and guidance from the Writing Assistant. If you don’t have a draft, just bring in your assignment and plan on talking though an outline.

Here is a video made by our very own Writing Assistants on what, why, and how to sign up for English 100. It's only 1 minute and 35 seconds!  ENG 100 Video Image

Please note where and with whom your appointment is held.
