received her MA in Leadership and Spiritual Formation from Spring Arbor
University and her MFA in Creative Writing from Northern Arizona University
where she teaches freshman composition and writes about feathers and other
small things. She served as the 2015-2016 nonfiction and visual
arts editor for Thin Air Magazine. Her essay "Feathers" was
nominated for a 2016 Pushcart Prize by Inklette Magazine. Her work also appears
on the Art House America Blog and Queen Mobs Teahouse.
