Spending time in Flagstaff at 7,000 feet is breathtaking. Weather can change quickly at Flagstaff’s elevation. To fully enjoy your campus visit experience, we suggest layered clothing, a jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and sunscreen. Please be prepared for possible snowfall in the late fall and winter months.

School year campus visits—offered on most weekdays September-April

Campus tours include:

  • an admissions information session
  • a student-led tour of campus and a residence hall
  • a meeting with a college representative*
  • a complimentary lunch

*College representative availability

Representatives from each college and department are available for most campus tours with the exception of the following departments in the College of Engineering, Natural Sciences and Forestry where presentations are only available Monday and Friday:

  • Biological Sciences
  • Chemistry/Biochemistry
  • Mathematics & Statistics
  • Physics/Astronomy
  • Environmental Sciences/Environmental Studies

Two information sessions 

9 a.m.-approximately 2:30 p.m.

Includes your choice of one presentation:

10:30 a.m.-approximately 4 p.m.

Summer campus visits—offered most weekdays May-August

Includes:

  • an admissions information session
  • a campus tour
  • a complimentary lunch

May-August

Session times:

9 a.m.-approximately 12 p.m.
10:30 a.m.-approximately 2 p.m.

June

10 a.m.-approximately 12 p.m.

Saturday campus visits—offered throughout the year

Includes:

  • an admissions information session
  • a campus tour

Session times:

9 a.m.-approximately 12 p.m.

Group or special campus visits

Group tours are offered to:

  • high schools
  • community colleges
  • groups of more than 10 people
