Online Transfer Orientation is now available for transfer students enrolling in summer 2016 classes. It will be available for transfer students enrolling in fall 2016 classes on Feb. 15. Once your enrollment deposit is paid you will receive the
link to orientation in two ways:
- First in your enrollment deposit confirmation email message.
- Again in a message to your NAU email account inviting you to complete your online orientation.
Orientation will walk you through all essential items necessary to
enroll at the university and become a successful student. It is required
prior to meeting with an academic advisor and enrolling in your first
Prior to completing the Online Orientation please do the following:
- Pay enrollment deposit
- Send immunization records to Campus Health Services. See Understanding Immunizations for details
After completing Online Orientation you will be ready contact your academic advisor in order to enroll in your first term classes.
Optional In-Person Orientation
students are welcome to attend an in-person Orientation session, though it’s
not required. The “Transfer Track” is facilitated by Transfer and Commuter
Connections, featuring a transfer-specific agenda that is both
relevant and fun.
one-day “Transfer Track” sessions help new transfer students transition to the
university. The program includes:
lunch, and student services expo
- Academic sessions with presentations about academic
advising and enrollment (one-on-one meetings with academic advisors)
on Campus presentation
to attending Orientation, complete your Priority Enrollment profile online so
academic advisors can confirm your transfer credits and build a preliminary
schedule for your first semester. You’ll review this together in-person during

We have closed both of the August Orientation sessions so we can prepare check in materials for all participants. If you would like to attend either the Aug. 23-24 or the Aug. 25-26 Orientation sessions, we encourage you to attend as a walk-in.
