Quality Assurance
Central to the Quality Assurance process for accreditation process is the Criteria for Accreditation, Assumed Practices and Obligation of Affiliation. To reaffirm our accreditation, Northern Arizona University must provide evidence that demonstrates that we meet the five criteria and offer an Assurance Argument organized by the criteria and their core components.
HLC 2021-2022 Year 4 Assurance Review
As a part of the normal Open Pathway accreditation process with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), Northern Arizona University will be going through a “Year 4 Assurance Review” in September 2021. This review will be conducted by a team of peer reviewers electronically; there is no campus visit as a part of this review. The team will review an updated version of the Assurance Argument that was prepared as a part of the HLC Comprehensive Review that occurred during 2017-2018.
A 2021-2022 HLC Steering Committee will be announced in Spring 2020.
