Human subjects in research
The Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the Protection of
Human Subjects in Research oversees all research conducted by faculty, staff,
and students that involves living human beings as participants in a study.
To apply for IRB review, go to www.IRBNet.org and register as a New User. Use the IRBNet Best Resource Ever to help you get started. See Steps for IRB Approval for more instructions.
Students: Please remember to “Share” your projects with your Faculty Adviser and request them to “Sign the Package” when you submit your IRB applications on IRBNet. See Special Instructions for Students for more information. Your Faculty Adviser must be registered with IRBNet in order for you to share the project with him or her.
