College Curriculum & Assessment Committees
The purpose of each College
Curriculum & Assessment Committee, and the Extended Campuses Curriculum
Committee, is to evaluate and recommend approval or disapproval to the Provost
of their college’s:
- new undergraduate
and graduate courses, programs and degrees,
- proposed changes in
existing courses, programs and degrees, and
- proposed deletion of
courses, programs and degrees.
In the spring, the committees review Annual Curriculum & Assessment Reports to ensure each academic unit is making consistent progress
toward the achievement and/or maintenance of the Degree Program Expectations
for all of its academic programs.
These committees might also take on additional tasks, as
determined by the committee. Membership
and by-laws for these committees can be found on their college websites.
