The Diane Rehm Show offers a lively mix of public affairs and call-in programming that ranges from hard news analysis to an examination of issues that affect our daily lives —such as religion, health and medicine, education and parenting. Weekdays from 9-11 am.

Echoes. Echoes creates a modern soundscape of music that draws from a multitude of cultures, traditions, and genres. Hosted by music journalist John Diliberto, this weekly series of evocative, ground-breaking music seamlessly bridges new instrumental, world fusion, new acoustic, impressionistic jazz, and inventive vocal styles. Sundays, 6-8 pm.

Living On Earth. Hosted by Steve Curwood, Living On Earth is a weekly environmental news and information program distributed by National Public Radio. This year marks Living On Earth's eighth anniversary. Every week over 250 public radio stations broadcast Living On Earth's news, features, interviews and commentary on a broad range of ecological issues. Sundays, 3-4 pm.

Marketplace is a daily program about business and finance. Putting a human face on the global economy, the program illuminates the ways that international business and finance relate to listeners' daily lives. Anchored by David Brancaccio, Marketplace draws on an international group of contributing reporters, producers, and commentators for its stories. Weekdays from 6-6:30 pm.

On the Media. Hosted by veteran journalists Brooke Gladstone and Bob Garfield, On The Media features a savvy roster of media-makers, observers, the newsworthy and the notable each week. Commentaries, analyses and reports cover significant media issues of the day, and longer-form investigative documentaries apply a microscope to the media, culture and society. Saturdays from 4-5 pm.

Studio 360. A new national radio show about arts and culture, hosted by novelist and journalist Kurt Andersen and produced by Public Radio International and WNYC. Current issues, events and trends in art are a jumping off point for an exploration of ideas that aren't necessarily "news," yet are provocative and offer a lens on experience that only art can provide. Studio 360 presents richly textured and emotionally resonant stories that look at art's creative influence and transformative power in everyday life. Saturdays from 3-4 pm and Sundays from noon-1 pm.
Talk of the Nation provides listeners access to decision-makers, authors and analysts from a wide range of ethnic, cultural and political backgrounds. And at the end of every week, Talk of the Nation Science Friday launches listeners into all things scientific. Weekdays from 11 am-1 pm.

Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! NPR’s irrevent quiz on the week’s news. Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! takes a fast-paced and irreverent look at the news of the world — and the weird. Wait Wait goes over the week that was with a fine toothed comb (or sledgehammer, if needed) to question panelists and entertain listeners on the stories Bob Edwards and Linda Wertheimer don’t always have time to cover. Saturdays from 11 am-noon

Whad’ Ya Know with Michael Feldman. An fast-paced comedy quiz show hosted from America’s heartland. Host and quiz-master Michael Feldman invites contestants to answer questions drawn from his seemingly limitless store of insignificant (but also somehow, important) information. Callers and audience members compete for "useless prizes" — including, among other things, pink flamingo lawn ornaments. Saturdays from
noon to 2 pm.

The World brings one-of-a-kind international stories home to America. Each weekday, host Lisa Mullins guides listeners through major issues and stories, linking global events directly to the American agenda. The World's coverage is provided by a global network of international journalists. The program also has access to the 250 BBC correspondents located around the world. Weekdays from 2-3 pm.
