Exchange Email and Calendars

Exchange is the official email and calendering system for employees of the University.
(NAU provides Gmail Services as the official email system for students.)
Exchange's large environment not only encompasses email and calendaring but contacts and much more.
Individual calendars are part of your Exchange account and may be accessed through Outlook, Entourage or Outlook Web Access (OWA). This is the calendar that you will use to book your own meetings and appointments.
Resource calendars are used to schedule conference rooms, meeting rooms, and/or equipment.
Classroom calendars are built each semester from classroom scheduling information in LOUIE. They are accessed in the same manner as resource calendars. Your ability to view and schedule classroom calendars is controlled by the building classroom manager.

Accessing your email and calendar There are multiple ways of accessing your email and calendar for the university. The most common ways to access email and calendars is by using Outlook Web Access (OWA) or by using Microsoft Outlook. How to Request
Shared Email Accounts
Individual Calendars are automatically created for you when your email address has been created.
Classroom Calendars are automatically created shortly after your departments class scheduler enters it into the PeopleSoft system.
Resource Calendars must be requested by filling out a ServiceNow ticket or by contacting the ITS Solution Center.
