The fall semester witnessed the first use of the Action Center in the MyNAU Portal. The Action Center provides another method of communicating critical information with students. Students logging into the portal are immediately aware of any action alerts that require their attention.

Tablets, smart phones, laptops, and other wireless devices need room to move, so we're upgrading our campus-wide wireless network to 802.11n. While this standard nomenclature may be cryptic, here's what it means for users across the NAU mountain campus.

This Friday, the 10th of February beginning at 5pm, the ITS Windows Server Group (MENSA) will be replacing our campus-wide Office Communications Server with the more modern and capable, Microsoft Lync Server.
