Direct Deposit in the LOUIE Student
Center Finances is where you can add an account where all your Direct Deposit
Refunds can go such as your pay checks our your excess financial aid.
If you have a refund due from your
student account, and you want it to be directly deposited into your bank
account, you can do this by creating a direct deposit account. Click the Direct Deposit link under the My
Account subheading for Finances in your LOUIE Student Center (figure 1).
On the Direct Deposit page, you will
see all of your bank accounts that have already been created listed by Account
Type, Routing Number, Account Number, and Deposit Type. If you do not have any
Direct Deposit Bank Account Details created, you will see a page similar to the
one in Figure 2 below where all of the columns are blank.
To create Direct Deposit account
details, click on the Add Account
button (figure 2).
On the Add Direct Deposit page, you
need to enter the details of the bank account that you would like your direct
deposits to go. Enter your Account type as Savings or Checking, the Routing
Number of your bank, and the Account Number of your bank account. When you’re
finished, click the “Save” button.
If you do not know your Routing
Number or your Bank Account number, click on the link View check example to see what those numbers are. Then, use your
check book to find out the correct numbers for your account.
