Easy admissions process

Navigating college admissions can sometimes be strenuous. We have a streamlined admissions process so you can save time, get into classes faster, and accelerate toward a bright future.

Establish residency

Individuals must establish residency in Arizona before they are eligible to pay resident tuition rates.  To access residency requirements and forms, click here to visit the Registrar's webpage.  Questions about graduate student residency can be sent to Karen Cornelius.

Citizenship requirements

A person who is not a citizen, a legal resident of the U.S, or who is without lawful immigration status is not entitled to classification as an in-state student for tuition purposes or other sources of financial assistance subsidized by state monies.  See citizen verification information.

International students

If you’re a student from outside the United States who is looking for a graduate program that embraces diversity and is committed to helping you succeed, Northern Arizona University can be a great place for you to study. Let us guide you through your admissions requirements.
