The Difference That Matters

On Veterans Day, NAU was the one university in Arizona to participate in the National Roll Call for the second year in a row. During this solemn ceremony, the names of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who gave the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan were read.
Capt Todd Carlson, USAF ret, narrated the National Roll Call program.
AFROTC Cadet Dennis Lynn played the National Anthem for the ceremony.
Elaine Williams volunteered as a reader for the ceremony.
LTC Andrew Griffin, USA Ret, served as a reader for the ceremony.
MSgt Troy Weigel, USAF ret, also served as a reader.
NAU student Michael Donelson concluded the ceremony with a moving rendition of Amazing Grace.
