Outstanding Educational Technology Graduate Student of the Year (2015-2016)
Mr. Jonathan Stanciu, pictured here with the Educational Specialties Department Chair, Dr. Laura Sujo-Montes, was recognized with the Outstanding Educational Technology Graduate Student of the Year. This award is given to students who go above and beyond their regular course assignments. Dr. Chih Tu nominated Mr. Stanciu and described him as a self-directed, focused learner who holds himself and his work to a high standard. He is innovative, inquisitive and ambitious to learn new things. His project design integrates effective instructional strategies and emerging technologies to deliver technology-based learning.

Diné Language Teachers Project
The Diné Dual Language Teachers Professional Development Project works with teachers with proficiency in the Diné language and high academic achievement to meet licensing requirements for teachers who work in language instruction education programs.
