  • Accepted refund requests are subject to a 20% processing fee

Pre-Camp: May 30th-June 2nd

To help prepare our staff for the summer, we offer a 4-Day 'Pre-Camp' at discounted rates to begin after Memorial Day. Each age group is limited to 20 children, no exceptions on increasing enrollment will be made.

Summer Camp Options

  • Mountain Jacks Camp

    The Mountain Jacks Kids Camp is open to all youth in Kindergarten through fifth Grade. The morning portion of the camp is dry-land, activity and educational-based, while the afternoon portion of the camp is aquatic-based. Activities and Adventures include*:

    • Lowell Observatory
    • Starlite Lanes
    • NAU Athletics
    • Flagstaff Police and Fire Department
    • The Humane Society
    • NAU Arts and Academics
    • National Parks Service
    • Summit Gymnastics
    • NAU Outdoor Adventures

  • Explorer's Camp

    The Explorer's Camp is open to all youth in sixth-eighth grade, and is limited to 30 campers each week. The Explorer's Camp venture around Northern Arizona University's campus, Flagstaff and surrounding areas through experiential education led by staff from our Outdoor Adventures program. Camp leaders and Professional Staff members provide leadership and skill development for all Explorers in a fun and engaging atmosphere. 

    Activities and Adventures include*:

    • American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification Course
    • NAU Outdoor Adventures Challenge Course
    • Outdoor Survival Skills
    • Wutpatki National Monument
    • Leave No Trace Outdoor Principles
    • Bike Maintenance Lessons
    • Mount Elden
    • Visit to Out of Africa
    • Day trips to: Red Rock Country, West Fork at Oak Creek Canyon, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, Red Canyon

Registration

Beginning April 3rd, all NAU Students & Faculty/Staff can register for our 2017 Summer Camp. Community Members and NAU Alumni will be able to register beginning April 10th
