Camp Information

Who Can Attend: Youth going into Kindergarten through eighth grade
Schedule Options: Full or Half-day
Terms Offered: Weekly or 5-week Sessions
Regular Camp Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m./1:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Groups are established by grade level, and have a counselor-to-camper ratio of 1:8 (K-1st graders). 1:10 (2nd-5th graders), and 1:12 (6th-8th graders).

  • We do not offer daily rates or pro-rating for any camp
  • We do not provide discounts for multiple children attending
  • Weekly enrollment is subject to available program space
  • No refunds for any camp order

NEW! Pre-Camp Available

Since the last day of FUSD schools is May 27th, we have decided to introduce a Pre-Camp week after Memorial Day from Tuesday, May 31st to Friday, June 3rd! Discounted rates are available, and each age group is limited to the first 20 registrations, no exceptions on increasing enrollment will be made. 

Registration will open to everyone on April 4th. Prices will be:

Mountain Jacks Kids Camp

The Mountain Jacks Kids Camp is open to all youth in Kindergarten through fifth Grade (we no longer offer camp for Pre-K children). The morning portion of the camp is dry-land, activity and educational-based, while the afternoon portion of the camp is aquatic-based. Activities and Adventures include*:

Explorer's Camp

Explorer's Camp

The Explorer's Camp is open to all youth in sixth-eighth grade, and is limited to 30 campers each week. The Explorer's Camp venture around Northern Arizona University's campus, Flagstaff and surrounding areas through experiential education led by staff from our Outdoor Adventures program. Camp leaders and Professional Staff members provide leadership and skill development for all Explorers in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

  • Outdoor Survival Skills
  • Wutpatki National Monument
  • Leave No Trace Outdoor Principles

  • Day trips to: Red Rock Country, West Fork at Oak Creek Canyon, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, Red Canyon

Registration

Beginning April 11th, all NAU Students & Faculty/Staff can register for our 2016 Summer Camp. Community Members and NAU Alumni will be able to register beginning April 18th
