What do you enjoy most about working with NAU undergrads?
I work primarily with juniors and seniors, so to have the opportunity to connect with freshmen and assist in their acclimation of college academics and life is quite rewarding.

What is your favorite place on campus?
The HRM Courtyard - I love the colors of the fours seasons the trees provide and the quiet, inviting environment the patio offers for a 5 minute break or 30 minute lunch.

Why should students take advantage of the Student Success Coaching program?
It is essential for new freshmen to understand the resources that are available to them throughout their college experience.  Also, to identify performance barriers, then turn them into successes with the help of the tools they learn through this program that they can utilize throughout the rest of their lives.

Student Success Coach 4 Significance
As a Student Success Coach I strive to be a catalyst for providing information and sharing tools that empower students to reach their highest potential academically and throughout their lives.

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever been given?
Be willing, open-minded and honest in all my endeavors and just keep sawing wood.
