Esquerra is the Director of the Center of American Indian Economic Development
(CAIED). Previously, he was the business development representative for the
Arizona Commission on Indian Affairs. He also interned for the St. Louis
Community Development Agency and the American Indian Center of Mid America.
is a member of the Chemehuevi Indian Tribe.
He has served as Tribal Chairman and has been elected to three
additional Tribal Council Terms. He was
instrumental in the creation of Nuwuvi Economic Development Corporation (federal
recognize corporation chapter 17).
