Interfraternity Council Rush
IFC Spring Rush Week will take place January 28 - February 2, 2013
During Rush Week, you will have the opportunity to visit with all 11 IFC fraternities so you can choose the chapter that is best for you.
Rush takes place in both the fall and spring semesters. During rush you will have the chance to spend time with as many fraternities as you like throughout the week to get a sense of their values, philanthropic endeavors, and social activities. If you are interested in adding your contact information to the Fraternity Rush interest list, please sign up. Your contact information will be shared with each fraternity so they can let you know about their rush events. Sign-up.
Each organization will have its own approved individualized rush calendar of events. Invitations for membership will be handed out at the end of the week.
All current Northern Arizona University students are welcome to participate in fraternity rush. Each organization has their own GPA requirement for membership, which they will share with you at the beginning of Rush Week.
Please keep in mind that alcohol is strictly prohibited at all recruitment events and hazing is not tolerated at Northern Arizona University.
Rush tips
If you come prepared, keep an open mind, and take a look at what each fraternity has to offer, you will be ready to make an informed decision.
Here are some additional tips to help you decide on the right chapter for you during rush week:
- Research each fraternity’s national website.
- Be yourself: our students are excited to get to know you and learn about your unique characteristics.
- Ask questions: this is an opportunity for you to learn about the organizations and what it means to be a brother in their chapter.
- Have fun: this is a great opportunity to meet other students and explore the benefits of lifelong fraternity membership.
