Financial responsibility is important for all college students. Every member of a fraternity or sorority agrees to be fiscally responsible as a student and as a chapter member.

Sorority and fraternity membership dues range from $150 - $795 depending on the chapter’s needs. Most often a student’s new member semester is the most expensive because of initiation fees and purchasing a badge. Membership dues pay for:

  • Sisterhood or brotherhood events
  • Insurance
  • House or parlor fees for the upkeep of the chapter rooms
  • National organization dues
  • Badge fee
  • Initiation expenses
  • Membership manual

Members do not have to pay dues after graduation, but will continue to reap the benefits of lifelong membership such as:
