The Graduate Student Government (GSG) provides a voice for graduate students
The GSG held its first graduate student body elections in
April 2011. This exciting event marked the transition from a campus
organization to a student government recognized by the Northern Arizona
University administration.
This student-led government provides graduate students an
opportunity to join a united front in creating the experience they need.
Accomplishments
In our commitment to enhancing your graduate experience, we
have:
- implemented a travel award program for graduate students
- advocated for
increased Graduate
Assistant benefits and tuition remission to 100 percent
- collaborated
with the Arizona Students’ Association
on state and national issues
- organized
question-and-answer sessions with the Northern Arizona University administration
- increased
graduate student representation on a variety of university-wide committees
and groups
