Our Values

The Greek Life program enhances your college experience by planning activities and programs that provide you with:

  • social activities
  • academic support
  • leadership development for our students

We focus on promoting four core values in members of our Greek community:

  • leadership
  • scholarship
  • service
  • Social

Greek Life programs are dedicated to developing self-confidence and leadership skills, which  allow our members to accomplish goals together and as individuals. You’ll gain hands-on leadership experience by:

  • directing committees
  • managing budgets
  • interacting with faculty and staff
  • attending conferences
  • providing direction for your peers

Greek organizations are committed to complementing the university’s academic mission and ensuring Greek students excel scholastically above all else. Every chapter at the university has a formal scholarship program so you can reach your potential as a student.

This past year, NAU's fraternities and sororities raised $142,342 for national and local charities and provided over 20,000 hours of community service to the local community. Our community service projects are numerous, and include:

  • blood drives
  • street and highway clean-up days
  • raising money for philanthropies

Greek organizations provide a unique opportunity for lasting friendships. Our fraternities and sororities offer a variety of activities to help students build connections with their peers, including:

  • leadership retreats
  • brotherhood and sisterhood events
  • Greek Week
  • Family Weekend events
  • date parties
