May 09, 2014: 

This is the tuition/fees payment deadline for 3-Week, 12-Week and DD1 Sessions.  Enrollment will be cancelled for classes not paid by this date.  Check LOUIE to verify account/financial status. 

If a student has sufficient financial aid to cover all tuition/fees, classes will not be cancelled.  If there is a greater than $150.00 balance between tuition and anticipated aid the balance will need to be paid by the end of business day or be subject to enrollment cancellation.  Check LOUIE Finances.

Note:  Although the first financial aid refund process is scheduled for May 29th, 3-Week and 12-Week students will not be dropped from classes if there is sufficient aid.

May 12, 2014: 

A $50.00 late fee will be applied to 3-Week, 12-Week and DD1 sessions if payment is not received on the same day as registration.

May 28, 2014: 

Refunding for Summer 2013, excluding second 5-Week session only students.

Refund deposit will take a minimum of 72 hours to post to your bank account.  If you are not signed up for direct deposit, a check will be mailed May 29th.  Checks are sent via US mail and may take up to ten business days to arrive.  Checks cannot be picked up at the Student and Departmental Account Services Office.

May 30, 2014: 

This is the tuition/fees payment deadline for first 5-Week, 10-Week and DD2 Sessions.  Enrollment will be cancelled for classes not paid by this date.  Check LOUIE to verify account/financial status.  Financial aid must be disbursed and tuition paid to prevent cancellation of classes.

June 2, 2014: 

A $50 late fee will be applied to First 5-Week, 10-Week and DD2 sessions if payment is not received on the same day as registration.

June 27, 2014: 

Refunding for second 5-Week session only students.  If student is not signed up for direct deposit, a check will be mailed.

July 3, 2014:

Fall 2014

July 2014:

Students with tuition, housing and/or meal plan charges will receive an electronic invoice.  All monthly bills will be created electronically on LOUIE and students will be notified by an email sent to their NAU email address.  Schedule changes made after this billing will not generate another electronic statement. If you have any changes to your class schedule, please check LOUIE for new charges that may be posted to your account. 

August 18, 2014:

Tuition/Fees Payment Deadline for students registered on or before August 18th.  Any balance not covered by financial aid is due August 18, 2014. 

Enrolled students who have tuition and fees balance of more than $500 by this date not covered by financial aid will automatically be placed on a Tuition Payment Plan and charged the non-refundable $125 service fee.  The payment plan divides the total tuition balance into equal monthly payments.  August through November for Flagstaff Mountain Campus students and August through December for Extended Campuses students thus enabling you to make monthly payments.  If you have questions regarding the Tuition Payment Plan please visit our website.

Enrolled students who have tuition and fees balance of more than $500 not covered by financial aid will automatically be placed on a Tuition Payment Plan and charged the non-refundable $125 service fee. ***

August 18, 2014:

Financial aid refunding begins today.  After financial aid pays all term charges, excess money is refunded by direct deposit or with a check by mail.  The quickest most reliable method of receiving your refund is direct deposit.  To set-up direct deposit, select the “Direct Deposit” link in LOUIE.  Please allow a minimum of two business days for funds to post to your bank account.  LOUIE address information must be up to date or your refund will not be issued.

If you are not set-up for direct deposit, a check will be mailed.  Checks are sent via US Mail and may take up to ten days to arrive.  Make sure your address is up to date.  

CHECKS CANNOT BE PICKED UP AT THE STUDENT AND DEPARTMENTAL ACCOUNT SERVICES OFFICE.

August 25, 2014: 

$50 Late Registration Fee will apply to students who are enrolling in their first Mountain Campus 16 week class on or after this date.

September 16, 2014: 

$100 Census Fee will apply to students’ account if adding a class to current Mountain Campus 16 week session on or after this date. 

Winter 2014

December 2014:

All students pay the same tuition rate during Winter Term. Pay all tuition and fees by December, 11 2014 to avoid being dropped. If you plan to pay with financial aid, complete a winter financial aid application before the deadline of December, 8 2014. 

December 15, 2014:

Classes begin. Starting today students who enroll without paying will be charged a $50.00 fee.
